IT Administrator

About the role

The organisation is seeking a proactive IT Administrator to manage and support its technology environment. You will be responsible for ensuring hardware, software, and network services operate smoothly while maintaining security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve IT incidents or appropriately escalate unresolved issues.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory lists and route forms.
• Enforce IT policies and procedures across the organisation.
• Install and configure stakeholder hardware and software.
• Ensure network permissions are correctly set.
• Manage and maintain office automation equipment.
• Provide connectivity and IT support to external users.
• Travel to site locations when required.

Required profile

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) or related qualification.
• Current MCSE certification with experience in Entra and Azure.
• CCNA certification.
• ITIL Foundations version 4 certification.
• Medically fit and able to work at heights.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• 2‑5 years of experience in information technology.

Required skills

• MCSE (Entra and Azure) certification.
• CCNA networking knowledge.
• ITIL Foundations v4 understanding.
• Strong knowledge of IT security principles.
