IS Risk Support & Training Specialist

About the role

The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of company transactions within ERP systems and providing support and training to all employees who use these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line helpdesk support for ERP queries via ticketing system, telephone and remote tools (TeamViewer, Skype for Business).
• Raise and escalate issues to KOTRAK, follow up until resolution.
• Perform daily checks of system processing, report and correct discrepancies, and maintain SSRS reports.
• Administer ERP system configuration, including company structure, permission sets, user accounts, product and item codes, and recipe data.
• Deliver training sessions to staff on effective ERP usage and management.
• Identify root causes of process problems, implement permanent corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate and a valid Code 08/EB driver’s licence.
• Diploma in ICT (Business Analysis) and proven computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
• Experience using remote support tools such as TeamViewer and Skype for Business.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and configuration.
• Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) for report maintenance.
