About the role
The role involves capturing and processing financial transactions, performing postings and allocations, and generating accurate reports to support effective financial management and decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Process invoicing to clients in multiple currencies, issuing invoices and credit notes.
- Assist with creditors reconciliations and allocations.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations.
- Support monthly financial reporting such as expense reports, asset list updates, and stock takes.
- Prepare documents for banks and other financial institutions.
- Carry out other financial tasks as required.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in finance/accounting.
- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word and Outlook.
- Recent (2‑year) experience with Pastel and Sage Evolution accounting software.
- Tertiary financial qualification (advantageous but not mandatory).
