Investment Specialist – Fund Management

About the role

The Investment Specialist drives investment growth, product positioning and franchise enablement through deep investment expertise, structured support and training. Operating within the technical marketing team, the role supports Business Consultants, Independent Financial Advisers and tied advisers, focusing on activation and enablement of new IFAs.

Key responsibilities

• Activate and grow new IFAs, removing barriers to entry and providing tailored product and fund guidance.
• Identify business and growth opportunities across franchises, analysing book and quote systems for trends and gaps.
• Enable advisers and franchises with specialist investment insights, ensuring confident product positioning.
• Support rollout of new products and funds, creating repeatable positioning frameworks and delivering quarterly overviews.
• Design and deliver structured investment training to build capability across the distribution network.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent NQF.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in investment and client‑facing roles.
• Strong investment knowledge and technical understanding.
• Solid client‑facing experience.
