Inventory & Supplier Reconciliation Clerk

About the role

The Inventory & Supplier Reconciliation Clerk ensures that inventory and supplier financial data are accurate and complete. You will compare records, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues to keep the company's accounting information reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Compare supplier information against inventory and accounting records.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies, unusual transactions, and variances.
• Perform detailed reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
• Ensure all documentation is obtained, accurate, and filed on time.
• Collaborate with other departments to verify financial information.
• Carry out additional inventory and supplier control functions as needed.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in finance, reconciliation, inventory, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and numerical abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large data volumes.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Outlook
• Experience with Sage Evolution (preferred)
