Inventory and Planning Coordinator

About the role

The Inventory and Planning Coordinator will ensure reliable demand and supply planning, daily production scheduling, and accurate stock replenishment across the organisation. The role supports the Planning and Procurement team to maintain optimal inventory levels, master data integrity, and smooth operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily production scheduling for unrestricted demand and set‑building.
• Replenish stock to the second warehouse (Bell Park) and monitor new‑product stock levels.
• Generate daily alerts for stock‑out or overstock risks and update KPI trackers without exception.
• Analyse weekly raw‑material purchasing requirements and flag safety‑stock breaches within 24 hours.
• Support customs clearing, track inbound shipments, and coordinate transport collections.
• Maintain master data, create codes and BOMs for demand and supply, and ensure data accuracy of at least 99 %.
• Track supplier OTIF and SLA compliance, raise PO confirmations, and resolve supplier queries.
• Produce operational reports and maintain supplier logs and inbound trackers.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma (e.g., BCom in Logistics or Supply Chain).
• 1‑3 years of experience in supply‑chain administration, inventory coordination, logistics or buying support.
• Knowledge of demand and supply planning, production scheduling, BOM management and stock control.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• ERP systems – preferably Odoo.
• Demand planning and production scheduling tools.
• BOM creation and maintenance.
• Customs documentation handling.
