Inventory Administrator – Scientific Services Division

About the role
Rand Water is looking for a highly organised, analytical and results‑driven Inventory Administrator to join the Scientific Services Division at Analytical Services in Vereeniging. The role focuses on ensuring effective inventory management and uninterrupted availability of critical items across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and control inventory in accordance with Rand Water policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- Plan and forecast inventory needs to support operational continuity.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receipt, storage and issue of stock.
- Provide procurement support and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise stores personnel to maintain efficient supply‑chain processes.
Required profile
- Highly organised with strong analytical abilities.
- Results‑driven and detail‑oriented.
- Capable of supervising store staff and coordinating inventory activities.
