International Customer Support Agent (Broadband) - Durban

About the role

ShiftMate is recruiting International Customer Support Agents (Broadband) to work in a contact centre in Durban. The campaign sells and supports home broadband and fibre services for customers overseas, and agents support them by phone, email and chat, resolving queries, updating records and processing routine requests. The role is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customers by phone, email and live chat
• Resolve queries, update customer records and process routine requests
• Escalate complex cases to the right team and track them to the end
• Write clear, polite messages in good English
• Meet reply-time and quality targets
• Support international broadband customers with orders, installation and billing by phone, email and chat

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12)
• At least 6 months' call-centre or customer-service experience; email or chat support experience is an advantage
• Strong written English, with a clear, neutral accent understood by international customers
• Organised and able to handle several open cases at once
• Available for shifts matching the campaign's international business hours

Required skills

• Good typing speed
• Confident use of email, chat tools and a CRM
