Internal Sales – Retail Steel & Industrial Hardware (Epping, Cape Town)

About the role
Our client is seeking a dynamic internal sales professional to resell mild steel and industrial hardware products from their Epping office in Cape Town. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, processing orders, and achieving sales targets in a fast‑moving retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Interact daily with customers by phone, providing product advice and support.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and new clients.
- Process orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely closure of deals.
- Cold‑call prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 (or equivalent) education.
- At least three years recent experience in trading mild steel or related industrial hardware.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
- Resides near Epping, Cape Town and has reliable transport.
- Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales quotas.
