Internal Sales Representative – Cape Town

About the role

Our client, a leading supplier of food ingredients to manufacturers, is expanding its internal sales team in Cape Town. The role is focused on generating new business, managing client orders, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Contact new business leads and convert them into sales.
• Acquire and onboard new clients.
• Handle outgoing and incoming sales calls.
• Manage client orders from initiation to delivery.
• Upsell and cross‑sell existing product ranges.
• Communicate current promotions to customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Maintain accurate administrative records and customer relationships.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience dealing with food manufacturers.
• Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems; knowledge of Pastel is advantageous.

What we offer

• Base salary of R16 500 per month plus commission.
