Internal Sales Representative – Cables

About the role

The Internal Sales Representative will work from our Pretoria East office supporting a leading distributor of electrical cables and supplies. You will manage customer inquiries, process orders and ensure a high level of service while collaborating closely with the sales team and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in‑person, providing product information and pricing.
• Process orders accurately, enter them into the system and coordinate with the warehouse for timely dispatch.
• Assist the sales team with quotes, proposals and sales campaigns.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and advise customers on technical specifications.
• Keep accurate customer records, prepare sales documentation and support inventory management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth sales operations.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of internal sales experience in the electrical industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience using ERP systems.
