Internal Sales Administrator

About the role

The company, a supplier of equipment, accessories and consumables to mining, oil and gas industries, is looking for an Internal Sales Administrator. Reporting to the Territory Supervisor, you will manage the full enquiry‑quotation‑order process and act as the key link between customers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, prepare professional quotations and confirm pricing, stock availability and delivery requirements.
• Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer records in CRM and ERP systems.
• Follow up on quotations, open orders, back‑orders and customer requests.
• Provide customer service support to clients and external sales representatives.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, Finance and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Assist with delivery queries, returns, credits and documentation requests.
• Maintain sales administration reports, quotation trackers and order status updates.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Diploma or relevant qualification in Sales Administration, Business Administration, Customer Service, Supply Chain or Logistics.
• 2–5 years experience in internal sales administration, order processing or similar commercial administration.
• Experience preparing quotations and processing sales orders.
• Experience with ERP, CRM or sales administration systems is advantageous.
