Internal Auditor – P2

About the role

The Internal Auditor – P2 joins Sandvik Mining’s Group Internal Audit (GIA) team to provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services. You will help evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute internal audit engagements, covering planning, fieldwork, evaluation, reporting and follow‑up.
• Perform risk assessments to focus audit scope on key risks and controls.
• Obtain, analyse and document audit evidence, validate observations and root causes with management.
• Contribute to risk‑based audit planning, identify emerging risks and update the audit universe.
• Ensure audit work complies with Global Internal Audit Standards and GIA methodology.
• Deliver data‑analytics procedures, extract data from ERP and other systems, and create dashboards, KPI tests and exception reports.
• Collaborate with GIA Data Analytics team to enhance audit coverage using digital tools.
