Internal Auditor

About the role

This role supports the Internal Audit function by identifying risks linked to business objectives and evaluating controls to enhance organisational effectiveness. The successful candidate will lead risk‑based audits across operational, financial, compliance and IT areas, delivering clear findings and recommendations to management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report risk‑based internal audits across operational, financial, compliance and IT domains.
• Develop audit programmes, risk assessments and working papers.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and perform data‑analysis testing.
• Identify control deficiencies, propose process improvements and track corrective actions.
• Prepare concise audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Support corporate governance initiatives and ensure alignment with IIA standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide advisory support on risk and control matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Internal Audit or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in internal, financial, operational or compliance auditing.
• Professional integrity, independence and strong ethical standards.
• Experience leading audit engagements from planning through reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit software.
• Experience using data analytics tools for testing and analysis.
