Internal Audit Manager

About the role

RCL Foods is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join its Group Services Division at the National Office in Westville, Durban. You will lead assurance activities, forensic investigations and drive a culture of strong internal controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IIA standards, King Report, COSO and IPPF.
• Manage forensic investigations and coordinate with external investigators when required.
• Lead audit staff and outsourced resources, providing coaching and performance oversight.
• Facilitate close‑out meetings with process owners and compile monthly board packs on audit outcomes.
• Promote audit awareness, evaluate regulatory compliance programs and contribute to system/process improvement steering committees.
• Leverage data analytics and visualisation tools to identify trends and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Relevant professional certification (CISA, CIA, CFE) or BCom degree with Chartered Accountant (CA) or Auditing qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of audit management experience and at least 3 years of technical audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of King Report, COSO, IPPF and IIA standards.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work onsite.
