About the role
We are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to help modernize financial access for South Africa’s underserved market. The role combines strong technical expertise with architectural thinking to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET 8+, C#, and React (TypeScript).
- Contribute to solution architecture, applying clean architecture, SOLID principles, and domain‑driven design.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Support teams to deliver reliable features.
- Identify and resolve complex technical problems, reducing bugs and production issues.
- Write clear technical documentation and design artifacts.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of learning and quality.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in an intermediate role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent (NQF 6+).
- Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end projects and leading technical initiatives.
