Intermediate Business Analyst

About the role

SupportFinity is looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join its Durban team. You will act as a bridge between business units and the development team, ensuring that applications meet user needs and align with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with departments to identify work shortfalls and propose process improvements.
• Advise developers and software architects on application functionality, user interface flow, and requirements.
• Participate in review, testing, quality assurance, and regression testing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct and supervise group testing of complete applications and software.
• Create wireframes and mock‑ups to help the business visualise changes.
• Improve functionality of end‑user services such as web, mobile, and feature‑phone applications.
• Develop user manuals and contribute to commercial and brochure content for system applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or a certificate in Business Analysis.
• 2‑3 years of experience in business analysis or a related discipline, including work on large‑scale projects.
• Experience handling day‑to‑day operational requests from the business.
• Understanding of indices, fundamentals, analytical data, and returns‑level data.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate business risks.
