Interior Designer

About the role

Our client in Pretoria is looking for a talented Interior Designer to join their commercial design team. You will be responsible for creating functional and visually appealing interior spaces, managing projects from concept through to completion, and ensuring client expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts for commercial projects.
• Prepare space‑planning layouts, technical drawings and full design documentation.
• Manage projects from initial brief to final hand‑over, adhering to budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain strong client relationships, present design proposals and manage expectations.
• Support or mentor junior designers where needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial interior design.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
• Own reliable transport and fluency in Afrikaans and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
