Insurance Broker – Bloemfontein

About the role

OUTsurance is seeking a dynamic Insurance Broker to join its Bloemfontein team. You will be responsible for expanding the short‑term business insurance portfolio, selling both personal and commercial lines, and building a strong book of clients through proactive prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of short‑term insurance policies.
• Prospect, canvass and acquire new business for personal and commercial lines.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing service.
• Collaborate with the sales support function to achieve targets.
• Participate in a comprehensive 6‑week training programme and continuous development activities.

Required profile

• Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate) or equivalent.
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access and a valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years of face‑to‑face external sales experience.
• Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
