Insurance Advisor – Cape Town (Old Oak)

About the role

Indwe Risk Services is seeking an Insurance Advisor to join its Cape Town office (Old Oak). You will help grow the company’s market share by delivering tailored risk solutions to existing clients and ensuring a high‑quality service experience at every touch point.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and sell appropriate personal and business insurance products to existing clients.
• Maintain and deepen client relationships through proactive advisory and follow‑up.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the growth of the Advisory Division.
• Stay informed on industry regulations, underwriting guidelines, and product developments.
• Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and documentation in line with FAIS and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Matric (Level 4) with a Short‑Term Insurance qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in insurance sales or brokerage.
• Understanding of personal lines insurance, FAFAIS regulations and underwriting processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of insurance and brokerage industry practices.
• Familiarity with FAIS representative requirements.
• Basic underwriting and risk assessment competence.
