About the role

We are looking for a forward‑thinking chef who can turn seasonal ingredients into eye‑catching plates while shaping a dynamic menu. Based in our Johannesburg bakery, you will lead a creative kitchen team and push culinary boundaries with fresh, bold flavours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and experiment with innovative menus and dishes.
• Transform seasonal produce into beautifully presented plates.
• Lead, train and manage kitchen staff.
• Control stock levels, place orders and manage inventory.
• Implement and maintain cleaning systems, kitchen hygiene and food‑safety standards.
• Prepare and cook dishes to consistent, high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
• Passion for food trends, global flavours, plant‑based and fusion concepts.
• Ability to think creatively while adhering to high presentation standards.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
