Industrialisation Manager

About the role

The Product Industrialisation Manager leads the transition of new and existing products from concept to full‑rate production. This onsite role ensures engineering designs become robust, repeatable and cost‑effective manufacturing processes while meeting quality, delivery and reliability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute industrialisation strategies for new and existing products.
• Lead the hand‑over of engineering designs into scalable manufacturing solutions.
• Establish manufacturing readiness criteria, milestones and align them with programme schedules.
• Coordinate New Product Introduction activities from design freeze through production release, including prototype, pilot and qualification builds.
• Design and optimise manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures and equipment to improve quality, cost and throughput.
• Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA and FMECA workshops, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Validate production processes before release and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional technical teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Programme Management.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in a high‑technology manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in industrialisation or manufacturing‑engineering leadership.
• Proven experience introducing products from development into production, preferably in aerospace, defence, electronics or automotive sectors.
• Project Management qualification and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are advantageous.

• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process FMEA (PFMEA).
• Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Process validation and manufacturing readiness assessment.
• Cross‑functional technical team leadership.
