Industrial Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Industrial Engineer to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and improving operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and improve production and operational processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with workflow optimisation and resource planning.
• Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance.
• Analyse data and prepare reports for management.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, waste and downtime.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and procedures.
• Work closely with production, engineering and management teams.
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects.
• Assist with implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc/Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing or production experience (advantageous).
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma exposure (advantageous).
• Process optimisation experience (advantageous).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (advantageous).
