Inbound Telesales Representative – Johannesburg

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Inbound Telesales Representative to join Xe’s expanding team in Johannesburg. As the first point of contact for potential and existing customers, you will understand their needs, promote our currency and money‑transfer services, and create sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, provide information, answer queries and qualify sales opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and promote Xe’s products and services accordingly.
• Guide qualified leads through the sales process to close transactions.
• Record all interactions, leads and follow‑up actions in Zendesk.
• Collaborate with the broader sales team to ensure smooth hand‑offs and support overall sales targets.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience, adhering to regulatory and company standards.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the currency market and payment services.
• Participate in coaching and performance discussions to improve personal performance.

Required profile

• High level of English proficiency.
• Previous experience in customer service or sales.
• Interest in financial services and currency markets.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Zendesk (or similar ticketing system).
