Inbound Sales Representative – Cape Town

About the role

Econo Foods is seeking an Inbound Sales Representative to join its Cape Town sales team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them choose the right frozen‑food products while driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Use a relationship‑based approach to increase sales and secure orders from existing and potential customers.
• Present product options, advising customers on the best choices for their needs.
• Develop and maintain business relationships within the assigned area to generate new business.
• Provide oral and written reports on customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities for new products.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge, sales techniques, market conditions and promotional trends by reviewing relevant literature and collaborating with marketing.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Work closely with the sales team to generate and convert leads.

Required profile

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the FMCG retail sector.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
