ICT Internship – Various Roles – Midrand

About the role

Gijima is offering a MICT Seta‑funded ICT Internship in Midrand, covering a range of technology tracks such as Business Analysis, Data Analysis, AI Development, Software Development, Cloud Computing, IoT and more. The programme is designed for recent graduates who are ready to apply their academic knowledge in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior team members on projects related to your chosen track (e.g., data analysis, software development, AI, cloud services).
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, documentation and reporting activities.
• Support end‑users and internal stakeholders with basic ICT queries and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to testing, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver project milestones on time.

Required profile

• Completed a 3‑year tertiary qualification in an IT‑related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science).
• South African citizen, aged under 35 on 1 July 2026.
• Currently unemployed, not enrolled in another study programme, and not participating in another learnership or internship.
• Resident of the greater Midrand area (relocation not permitted).
• No criminal record.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
