Hospitality Sales Representative – Maitland, Cape Town

About the role

Our client, a leading supplier of hospitality products, is seeking a dynamic Hospitality Sales Representative to be based in Maitland, Cape Town. The role focuses on expanding distribution, managing channel partners and ensuring product availability across retail, wholesale and informal trade channels in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute distribution channel strategies aligned with sales targets.
• Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers and e‑commerce partners.
• Design and continuously improve route‑to‑market models to optimise product flow.
• Negotiate contracts, margins and service level agreements with partners.
• Monitor distributor performance, stock availability and order fulfilment.
• Drive sales volume through promotional campaigns and merchandising standards.
• Analyse channel KPIs and provide regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in FMCG sales, distribution or trade marketing.
• Proven track record managing distributors and route‑to‑market strategies.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Leadership experience with the ability to coach sales teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales and distribution systems or tools.
