Homecare Consultant

About the role

The Homecare Consultant sits at the heart of A24 Group’s new homecare division, acting as the primary human contact for clients and referral partners while ensuring swift placement and high‑quality care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospital case managers, GPs, specialists and private‑pay families.
• Respond to referrals same‑day and coordinate nurse or care placement for homecare cases.
• Manage an active case portfolio with weekly family updates, monthly clinical reviews and escalations as needed.
• Identify and prospect new referral sources through outreach calls and hospital visits.
• Work closely with the Homecare Desk Manager to achieve individual and team targets.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure a seamless, professional experience for every client.

Required profile

• Background in healthcare, nursing, social work, healthcare staffing or a related field.
• Confident communicator – empathetic with families and professional with clinical referrers.
• Commercially minded with ability to spot and develop new business opportunities.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
• Understanding of the South African private healthcare landscape is an advantage.
• Genuine care for patients and families – this is not a transactional role.
