About the role
Triton Express, a member of the Plennegy Group, is seeking a reliable Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver (2T/4T) to join its Johannesburg team. The role involves transporting client cargo across the city while upholding the company’s standards of safety, integrity and customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Distribute and collect client cargo, ensuring accurate loading and off‑loading.
- Complete and submit daily delivery and collection sheets.
- Perform pre‑trip vehicle inspections and report any faults.
- Verify delivery and collection addresses and maintain constant contact with the depot.
- Obtain authorization before any deviation from delivery/collection sheets.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Valid unendorsed Code 10 driver’s licence and valid PDP.
- Good geographical knowledge of the Johannesburg area.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and during the shift 06:00–16:00, with overtime as needed.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Own transport to and from work and a high degree of integrity.
