Healthcare Inbound Customer Service Agent – USA Hours (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a professional inbound customer service agent to support a US‑based healthcare client. The role is fully remote and operates on US Eastern Standard Time, including rotating shifts and weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to patient enquiries courteously and promptly.
• Verify patient insurance details, personal information and co‑payments.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments using the provided scheduling system.
• Provide patients with information about services offered.
• Accurately input and update patient data in the scheduling system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of appointments, medical needs and preferences.

Required profile

• Exceptional English communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities, especially when interpreting insurance information.
• Calm under pressure with empathy and patience when handling customer concerns.
• Availability to work 5‑day rotating shifts covering US EST, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable fixed‑fibre internet (minimum 25 Mbps) and a backup power solution.
