Head of Finance – Lead Multi-Entity Finance Function

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to own the finance function across a fast‑growing multi‑entity group. Reporting to the executive team, you will shape financial strategy, drive performance and ensure compliance while influencing key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial performance, including reporting, budgeting and forecasting for all entities.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash‑flow management and currency‑hedging strategies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations and audit requirements.
• Drive cost‑optimisation initiatives and improve financial efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a high‑performing finance team.
• Oversee internal controls, risk management frameworks and external audits.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision‑making.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with auditors, clients, suppliers and internal leadership.

Required profile

• Matric (essential) and a professional qualification – CA(SA), CIMA or ACCA.
• Minimum 10 years of senior finance or management experience.
• Proven track record managing multiple entities or group structures.
• Strong background in financial reporting, compliance and treasury management.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with Syspro (advantageous).
