Head of Discipline: Software Engineering

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex client engagements, software delivery portfolios, and multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Understand client environments and future business needs to align organisational offerings.
• Identify leads and growth opportunities within existing client environments.
• Provide oversight and quality governance across engagements, including risk management and issue resolution.
• Scale and mature discipline offerings, competency frameworks, and career pathways.
• Own and deliver against annual sales, discipline revenue, and gross profit targets.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience leading enterprise software engineering teams and delivering large‑scale projects.
• Strong background in software architecture, cloud technologies, DevOps, and delivery governance.
• Experience in business development, pre‑sales, client relationship management, workforce planning, and recruitment.
