Head of Digital

About the role

The client is establishing a new Digital Division and seeks a seasoned technology leader to head this function. The role will oversee enterprise-wide governance, risk and compliance (GRC) as well as project, programme and portfolio management, ensuring that all digital and technology investments align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Digital Team as the central governance function for all digital and technology initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and oversee programme and portfolio governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and COBIT.
• Oversee CAPEX and OPEX expenditure for digital projects.
• Create and maintain executive‑level reporting and performance dashboards.
• Manage vendors and monitor SLA performance.
• Align digital investments with organisational strategy and business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT field or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT governance or enterprise PMO environments.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Practical experience with frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL, or equivalent.
• Additional governance or risk‑management certifications are advantageous.
