Handyman – Worcester

About the role

The Handyman will deliver high‑quality general maintenance services across multiple client sites for a leading commercial real‑estate services provider. Working independently and supervising a small on‑site team, the role focuses on safety, service delivery and client satisfaction while ensuring facilities meet agreed standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs at various client locations.
• Supervise and allocate tasks to on‑site team members, ensuring work meets quality standards.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff and support specialist teams when required.
• Report work activities digitally using mobile applications and maintain accurate job cards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational procedures, including safe handling of chemicals and equipment.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in general building and facilities maintenance.
• Experience supervising or managing a small team.
• Trade‑related qualification or technical certificate in building maintenance, construction or a related field (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Professional communication skills and ability to interact with clients on‑site.
