About the role

We are looking for a reliable Handyman to join our facilities team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of building systems, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our clients and staff.

Key responsibilities

Repair and maintain lighting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other fixtures.
Conduct regular inspections, log issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
Support subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
Complete work orders and accurate reports in a timely manner.
Respond to client queries and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

Matric (NQF Level 4) – technical qualification is advantageous.
2–5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance.
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong time‑management and customer‑service focus.

Required skills

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Basic plumbing knowledge.
Basic electrical systems knowledge.
Carpentry and fixture installation skills.
