Group Reporting Manager (CA(SA)) – Cape Town

About the role

Join a high‑performing finance team within a well‑established JSE‑listed organisation as the Group Reporting Manager. You will own the Group’s financial reporting function and partner with senior leadership to deliver accurate, compliant, and insightful financial information that drives strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements in line with IFRS and JSE Listing Requirements.
• Manage the end‑to‑end Group reporting process, meeting all reporting deadlines.
• Produce financial commentary and support Board and executive reporting.
• Take ownership of the Group’s Integrated and Sustainability Reports, monitoring IFRS S1 & S2 requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to compile meaningful disclosures.
• Coordinate with external service providers to ensure high‑quality published reports.
• Prepare monthly consolidated reporting packs for executive management.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Perform Group consolidations, foreign‑currency translations, and support complex capital transactions.
• Execute complex IFRS calculations, technical accounting assessments, and prepare accounting papers for intricate transactions.

Required profile

• Qualified CA(SA) with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, JSE listing requirements, and sustainability reporting standards.
• Proven experience solving complex accounting matters in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high‑quality financial insights.
