Group Financial Controller – Mining Sector

About the role
The mining group is seeking a Group Financial Controller to take ownership of consolidated financial reporting across multiple operations. This senior finance professional will ensure accurate group statements, compliance with IFRS, and robust financial controls while supporting strategic finance projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present group consolidated financial statements.
- Oversee month‑end and year‑end reporting cycles.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Drive internal control frameworks and governance processes.
- Manage external audit relationships and statutory filings.
- Support group‑wide finance projects and continuous process improvements.
Required profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
- Proven experience in the mining industry.
- Strong background in IFRS reporting and financial consolidation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex reporting structures.
