Grinder Operator (2 openings)

About the role

Epol is seeking two Grinder Operators for its feed‑mill operation in Pretoria. The successful candidates will run industrial grinders to meet daily production targets, ensure raw material quality through sampling, keep the work area clean, and support the broader production team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate grinders efficiently to achieve required output.
• Sample all raw materials at the start of each shift.
• Clean in‑line magnets and the surrounding work area daily.
• Record production sequences, machine downtime, and complete job cards.
• Communicate promptly with the Production Supervisor about any faults or issues.
• Coordinate with the mixer operator to align raw‑material supply with production needs.
• Assist the Production Supervisor and other personnel as required.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by Mill Management.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a feed‑mill environment.
• Physically fit and able to work in dusty, hot conditions.
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures.
