Graphic Designer – Packaging Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a creative Graphic Designer with a strong passion for packaging design and brand development. The successful candidate will join our Cape Town team to transform concepts into compelling, print‑ready packaging solutions for a variety of products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging for diverse product lines and brands.
• Create artwork from initial concept through to final print‑ready files.
• Ensure all packaging complies with brand guidelines, regulatory standards, and production specifications.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and printers to guarantee successful project delivery.
• Contribute fresh ideas and innovative design solutions to enhance brand presence.

Required profile

• Relevant Graphic Design qualification.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on packaging design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging and branding projects.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proven experience in packaging design.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Ability to develop artwork from concept to print‑ready files.
• Understanding of packaging specifications, print processes, and production requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and layout skills.
