Graphic Designer (Midweight)

About the role

Emeris is seeking a Midweight Graphic Designer to join its Studio team at the National Office Waterfall in Midrand. The role involves turning creative briefs into compelling visual solutions across print, digital and motion media while maintaining brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret design briefs, conduct research and develop mood boards, sketches and full concepts.
• Stay updated on design trends and competitor executions.
• Create designs from concept through to final execution, including print collateral, digital assets and motion content such as animations and social media videos.
• Prepare and present drafts to the Studio Team Leader, Senior Graphic Designer and Advertising & Promotional Manager for approval.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, lead agencies and the brand marketing team.
• Manage multiple creative projects, meet tight deadlines and handle ad‑hoc requests efficiently.
• Ensure all outputs follow the Brand VI Guide and adhere to relevant policies.
• Proofread and quality‑check all creative work before final delivery.

Required profile

• Creative thinker with strong visualisation and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, methodical and able to multitask under pressure.
• Good understanding of print processes and artwork preparation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
