Graphic Designer – Markham

About the role

The Graphic Designer will create specialised digital content that aligns with Markham’s brand vision and design strategy. You will shape the visual identity of the brand and support the development of fresh, trend‑relevant collections for our premium customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design graphics for garments, textiles, embroidery and trims that reflect current trends and brand aesthetics.
• Conduct trend research and compile mood boards focusing on styling, graphics and colour.
• Prepare technical drawings, range boards and 3D design concepts where applicable.
• Present trend overviews and design proposals to buyers and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with buyers to develop collections that meet customer expectations for novelty and style.

Required profile

• Diploma in Graphic Design, Textile Design or Clothing Design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a graphic, garment or textile designer in the apparel industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a clear design aesthetic and ability to translate concepts into finished products.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with technical drawing and hand rendering.
• Understanding of printing processes, colour management and fabric construction.
• Exposure to 3D design tools is advantageous.
