Graphic Designer (Junior to Mid-Level) – On-site in Johannesburg

About the role

Touch Down Africa is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join its on‑site team in Woodmead, Johannesburg. The role is suitable for candidates with 3‑5 years of experience who can produce high‑quality digital and print assets for the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute visual concepts for marketing campaigns, branding, and property promotions across digital and print media.
• Maintain strict brand consistency across multiple properties and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the creative team to generate original ideas and solve design challenges.
• Manage several projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prepare files for production and ensure final assets meet technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven graphic design experience.
• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in digital and print design.
• Experience or strong interest in travel, tourism, hospitality or destination marketing.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Canva.
• CorelDRAW (advantageous).
• Basic HTML (advantageous).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney or Claude (advantageous).
