Graduate Training Programme – Various Roles Across Eskom

About the role

Eskom’s Graduate in Training Programme 2026/2027 offers unemployed South African graduates a chance to start their careers with one of the country’s largest electricity utilities. The programme runs across a variety of Eskom operations nationwide and covers many disciplines such as Environmental Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, Quantity Surveying, Safety, Business Improvement, Project Management, Information Systems, Communications and others. Each stream has its own closing date between 18 September and 29 September 2026 and specific qualification criteria. Successful candidates will receive structured on‑the‑job training, mentorship and exposure to real‑world projects within their chosen field. Applications are submitted online through Eskom’s recruitment portal, and candidates must select the link that corresponds to their field of study. The programme is open to graduates from a broad range of study areas, including built environment, commerce, law, marketing, risk management, public relations, journalism, library science and many others as listed in the individual streams.

Required profile

• Fully completed Bachelor’s (or BTech) degree in the discipline relevant to the selected stream.
• Unemployed South African graduate meeting the specific qualification requirements for the chosen programme.
