About the role
Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) offers a two‑year Graduate Development Programme for recent South African graduates in Ergonomics or Human Factors. The programme provides structured on‑the‑job training, mentorship and exposure across various functional areas within TFR’s operations.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in rotational assignments across depots and departments in Johannesburg.
- Undertake on‑the‑job training and contribute to projects related to ergonomics and human factors.
- Engage with stakeholders to support operational improvements.
- Complete six‑monthly assessments to track progress and development.
Required profile
- South African citizen aged 18‑35.
- Fully completed Master’s or Honours degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors or a related discipline (NQF Level 8 or 9).
- No prior work experience required.
- Unemployed graduate seeking entry‑level exposure.
