Graduate Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated graduate with a strong academic record, commercial mindset, and genuine interest in advanced engineering and technology solutions. The role focuses on building long‑term client relationships and supporting business growth within a leading South African defence and aerospace technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.
• Support the preparation of proposals, tenders, and technical presentations.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Represent the company at client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Assist in developing and executing business growth strategies.

Required profile

• Matric with an overall average of 85% or higher (non‑negotiable).
• Bachelor's Degree or BTech qualification completed after school.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (spoken, read, and understood).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.
