General Worker – Truck Assistant (Logistics)

About the role
We are looking for a reliable General Worker – Truck Assistant to join our logistics team at our Richards Bay depot. Triton Express is a leading road‑freight logistics provider operating across Southern Africa, committed to excellence, integrity and innovation. The role involves supporting the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently. This is a contract position for up to six months, Monday‑Friday, 07:00‑17:00.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from trucks at the depot and at client sites.
- Stack and organize goods in designated areas.
- Secure cargo on vehicles to prevent movement during transit.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as required.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Valid unendorsed Code 10 driver’s licence and a valid PDP.
- Ability to work under pressure, overtime and unsociable hours.
- Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Own transport to and from work.
- High integrity, reliable and presentable.
