General Worker – Stacker (Milling)

About the role

Premier FMCG is seeking a reliable General Worker to join its milling department as a Stacker. The role involves handling finished products, ensuring quality, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment in a fast‑paced, hot and noisy manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manually remove materials and products from machines and equipment.
• Stack and palletise finished cases on appropriate pallets.
• Inspect materials and products for defects and check bottom and end seals for quality.
• Date‑code each case with the correct manufacturing product sticker.
• Complete finished‑goods tickets accurately.
• Assist with lifting, carrying and moving loads up to approximately 25 kg.
• Support maintenance teams with troubleshooting as needed.
• Perform assigned sanitation duties and keep the work area clean and safe.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in the milling industry.
• 6 months to 1 year experience as a stacker or similar role.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Ability to work under pressure, stand for long periods and maintain focus.
• Good level of fitness and concentration.
