General Worker – Quality Assurance (3 positions)

About the role

We are looking for three General Workers to join our Quality Assurance team. The role supports the implementation of Rainbow’s Total Integrated Management System, ensuring that all samples are properly archived, logged and analysed in accordance with feed safety and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Archive all samples and maintain an organized filing system.
• Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and perform Near‑Infrared (NIR) analysis.
• Collect scheduled special samples, including weekly and monthly salmonella and TEC samples.
• Provide relief shift coverage for the QA Monitor.
• Follow feed safety, health, safety and environmental procedures and ISO standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure functional archive and weekly central lab submissions.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (or equivalent) education.
• At least three months of experience in a production environment.
• Computer literacy and willingness to work with laboratory software.
• High honesty, integrity and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
• Basic knowledge of NIR (Near‑Infrared) analysis techniques.
• General computer skills.
