About the role
We are looking for a reliable General Worker to join our logistics team in Westville, Durban. The role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload stock from trucks and containers.
- Receive, sort, and store goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Label, wrap, and palletise products as required.
- Conduct stock handling and movement activities safely.
- Support stock counts and inventory control processes.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards.
- Report damaged stock, equipment faults, and safety concerns.
- Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Clean criminal record.
- Good communication skills.
