General Worker – Electrical Experience (2 positions)

About the role

Smart Staff Solutions is looking for two General Workers with electrical experience to support a fixed‑term, project‑based installation contract in Stellenbosch. You will work alongside technicians and electricians on commercial HVAC and electrical systems, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist technicians and electricians with daily installation activities.
• Support the installation of commercial HVAC and electrical systems.
• Pull cables, mount equipment, and help with electrical wiring as required.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials on site.
• Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform drilling, mounting, and basic mechanical installation tasks.
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and Team Leader.
• Report hazards, damages, or safety concerns immediately.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in construction, electrical, or a related technical field.
• Basic electrical knowledge with hands‑on experience.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Physically fit for manual labour.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work on a fixed‑term contract.
